Abstract:

The present work is devoted to an effort to develop a system based on Raspberry Pi—a single-board computer equipped with a digital camera—which is capable of visually tracking the dynamics of a real-time process and which provides required data to the device controlling the process. The work was concentrated on developing a software written in C/C++ for GNU/Linux operating system with a purpose of tracking of water level in a cuboid tank, while communicating with a PC running MATLAB.
