Syllabus

Instructors:

Semester:

  • Spring

Year:

2015

Awarded ECTS points:

5.0

Description:

Processes and its models, model types. Model based control.
Cascade, feed-forward, and selective control.
MIMO control possibilities, batch processes control. Process control and process management.
Process safety, protection circuits and safety devices.

Policies:

Assessment methods:

  • 5-9 practical works (Reports should be provided in 2 weeks after experiment was carried out) ;
  • 2 test works.

Exam prerequisites: 2 tests should be written, each at least for 5 points.

The final grade consists of three parts: each test work gives 20%, each report gives 2% (on time) or 1% (with delay) and 50% exam.
